Hello,
I've been in the real estate business since 1999. Most of that time I spent developing condos here in DC as well as overseas (Bulgaria and Nicaragua). I used a slow period last year to get licensed as a real estate agent in DC and MD. Most recently I've become interested in bulk REO.
I personally have $350K cash to invest right now. I have a network of investors who may also bring cash to a deal if I can deliver something solid. I think I can raise anywhere from $300K to about $2MM cash. One of my investors shows $1.5MM cash in an account - he won't invest all of it with me, but I know this can be helpful for gaining access to REO tapes.
I would like to acquire a portfolio of discounted properties in the DC/MD/VA-Metro region (I will consider Baltimore). I can consider properties in any condition. I much prefer fewer, more expensive properties, rather than many very cheap properties.
I plan to purchase a portfolio, do any necessary rehab and then sell to an owner occupant or rental investor.
Thanks for any direction/advice you can provide.
Aaron
