Hello! :) New to BP, looking to get started!

Greetings everyone! My name is David and I've been lurking around here for short time and wanted to finally get involved with this community. I am a typical 'Office Space' worker, I work in a cubicle for an insurance and investment company. I make a decent income, just short of 50K a year, but have been tired of it for a while and wanted to get out on my own as an entrepreneur however I could never figure out what I wanted to do or how I would get started. Then I came across Clayton Morris' podcast after hearing him recommend it as his pick of the week on TWiT (This Week In Tech). I didn't have to listen to more than a couple episodes before I figured out that, for the first time in my life, I finally knew what I wanted to do for a living. I am currently in talks with his team at Morris Invest on arranging my first buy-and-hold property and am currently researching my financing options. While I am doing turnkey for my first property I would also like to learn from Clayton and his team, and from this community so that I can do this on my own. I have a decent understanding of the business from listening to his podcast and lurking here, but I want to make sure that when I do step out on my own to make my own deals I start off on the right foot. So here I am to learn!

Anyway, thats my story in a nutshell. Looking forward to hearing back from the community!
