New To The Real Estate Idea and Wants to Learn More

Hi @Marcus Dunlap, I am also in Memphis and I promise, you DO NOT need a real estate course.
Before doing anything, I highly recommend listening to the BP podcasts from the beginning. It's like a masters course in REI.
Also, set up a key word alert for "Memphis" and start reading the posts. You'll get to see who the active players are, get their opinions about what's happening in the city, learn some of the issues and circumstances they are facing, and learn a lot.
Be sure to check out the Memphis Investors web site and go to some meetings. Group http://mig.clubexpress.com/
From there, you'll see that there are many different ways to get started, you'll learn the pros and cons of each, figure out where you're most comfortable, probably meet a bunch of really smart people, make a couple friends, and grow from there. Good luck!
