Commercial Investor from Cleveland

Hi Everyone,

I've been listening to the Bigger Pockets Podcasts throughout the summer and am now just getting active online.

I'm originally from Cleveland where I have worked as a commercial real estate broker the past few years, focusing largely on leasing/selling Office, Warehouse, and flex properties. During my time in brokerage I syndicated my first commercial deal by raising money through friends, investors, and clients for a small mixed use property. 3 units up and a first floor retail unit. After some lipstick to the units and raising rents, I was able to sell the property at a significant profit after a year and a half and I'm on to the next deal.

I now work with my family in commercial development and investment, but am still looking to break into the residential and multifamily market as a way to diversify our portfolio.

Biggest challenge on my end mentally is the need for 24 hour management required of residential properties. So any tips there would be appreciated as I find that intimidating.

Thanks and I look forward to engaging with everyone on these forums.

- Brad
