I'm John Skovira, a resident of Mechanicsburg, PA.  I work in Hershey as a civil/geotechnical engineer for a specialty contractor.  I have limited experience with and knowledge about real estate, but I am trying my best to improve on the knowledge part. Bigger Pockets has been an immensely valuable resource in that regard.  I believe real estate investment can provide opportunities to realize financial and life goals that would otherwise be difficult to reach by use of other investment vehicles.

The local REI group is called CARPOA. We meet upstairs in the Camp Hill Giant the first Thursday of the month at 7:00. There is no meeting this month because of the Christmas party. Between bigger pockets and CARPOA you can do really well.
