My name is Jordan. I own a house in Southwest Baltimore / Sowebo in Hollins Market, and I rent out two rooms within it. I decided to buy after I fell in love with Baltimore, and decided on Sowebo because of its excellent location, the size/cost ratio of the houses, and the rentability of the area.

As I go back to college, I've decided I also want to continue to play a role in Baltimore's renewal. I'm still researching how I want to go about pursuing that. I know I need to build capital to start out with, learn the retail trade, and continue to study the city and the region so I can understand how it ticks. In ten years, I see myself managing several different properties and using the income from that to restore some of the decrepit beauties throughout the city.

From December 2nd until the spring semester starts in the middle of January, I will have lots of free time with no job. I would love to find an internship or apprenticeship with someone who works in rehabbing or investment.

Hoping to meet some of the great people around the Baltimore area!
