Hi my name is Max; I have a background in marketing / communications with a cable company. After being here for a great number of years, I have started to feel career insecure. I have very little experience in real estate; I have completed only one real estate deal in my life in Orlando, Florida.
I entered into a lease-option agreement with owner for two years, contracted the property for $157,000, and several years letter (3) I turned around and sold it for $289,000. The story is that after 2 years I had the property appraised, and it came in at $225, 00.00, so I was able to buy the property with no money down and walk away with $10,000 cash in my hand, $600.00 went to the insurance company which asked me to pay the year in full.
I am interested in the Note brokerage area; I have been doing lots of reading on Noteworthy, and many other articles on the net; specifically in the area of finder’s fee, and perhaps move towards the future with ownership options.
The finder’s fee function allows you to learn the business as you go without any major financial risk. Gathering the proper information from note owners, and identifying needs are a match to my skills.
I would like to develop a consistent stream of income by helping, and finding people that would like to sell their notes at a discount. My goal would be to commence to transcend this small business into full time by the August next year. To achieve my goal I would need to make $6,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month consistently in order to leave my job. That’s my immediate goal -
The purpose of me participating in this site, to learn more about the business, more specific to what kind of marketing to use, how do you identify niche markets by categories?, and what media mixes perform well. My second purpose is to incorporate myself into the business synergy by participating and networking with people on this site.
