Hello!

My name is Nick, I grew up and currently live/invest in Denver Colorado.  Currently I work full time for a tech company called Paytronix in the Down Town Tech Center (DTC).  For this company I'm a technical consultant meaning I help clients run projects through our system as well as do troubleshooting & answer questions regarding the product we have. I've found many parallels between my job and real estate investing.

My background in real estate is fairly limited. I got into it because when I purchased my own home I had a real-estate agent that did some investing himself. I was intrigued so I asked a million questions and decided this was a much better investment than anything else I've been able to do (stocks).  Since this point I've read all the Bigger Pockets books (as well as others) and purchased 6 properties, 5 of which I manage. Favorite book was the book on purchasing properties with "no and low money down".

Property 1: I live in.

Property 2: 3 & 4: Are B properties that I plan on renting for the foreseeable future.

Property 5:  Owner financed ownership that was purchased from a family member

Property 6: Equity partnership with by brother; meaning he got the loan and paid the down-payment while I do everything else.

My current goals are to expand & purchase more properties so that I can leave my full time job & invest full time.  My larger secondary goal is to purchase a 5+ complex by using mainly investors money.

I've joined bigger pockets because:

-I would like to find better deals.

-Find professional recommendations (I'm currently looking for a real estate investor accountant and lawyer).

-General advice and how I can do everything better.

-Make some friends!
