Hello everybody.

My name is Marc Pelosi and I am new to the real estate world at 22 years old. I play professional soccer for the San Jose Earthquakes and as most people know the career's could be quite short so I am (like many others) looking to generate some passive income now and mainly after my career is finished.

I would love to connect with some members here on BP to learn a bit more and if anyone has any tips as to starting out it would be great to hear as everyone needs some guidance at the beginning of this exciting road.

As I live in California one venture I was looking to go into is acquiring a house from Elite Investment Turnkey (Chicago) as I have spoken to them a little bit and sound like a trusting and good group.

The property I was looking at was a duplex as you get a very good return on the initial cash invested to the return's monthly cashflow. The one thing I was weary about was that the house was built in 1900 (obviously renovated) and wanted to know some of the main problems to look out for that might be surpassed by the contractors on such an old property as I won't have time to go out there before initially investing.. Living in San Jose, I don't come across many houses built so long ago so I don't know what shape they could be in structurally/electrically/etc.

Thanks to anyone that good help and everyone on here that gives out such great information!!

Look forward to hearing and possibly working with some of you in the future.

Marc
