First Timer in Galveston County Texas

Hello! 

My name is Fillipe Silvas and have recently gotten very interested in real estate investing. I currently have a full time job in manufacturing and part time personal training. I plan to continue both of these as i dive into real estate because I do enjoy them. I am about 2 weeks out from the closing date of my first home. Going through this process has been quite scary for me but so intriguing as well. Finding 2 renters for my extra bedrooms has made it much more comfortable and also has gotten me beyond excited at the opportunity real estate shows for passive income. I have very little knowledge of the business but am willing to put in the time to learn. Although long term residual income is my biggest interest, the thought of making a few flips in the beginning really gets me going! I found bigger pockets during a google search while doing some research on the local market and have listened to a few of the podcasts. Needless to say I am thrilled to learn and get the ball rolling towards my first investment!
