18 Year Old Out Of Washington

Hey all,

I´m a freshly turned 18 year old who lives in the great city of Lynnwood, Washington. I´m currently a senior in high school and I also attend classes at my local community college as a sort of ¨Running Start¨ program at my high school. I´ve lived here with my mother and my step father for about ten years now and I´ve grown to both love it and hate it over the years, but let´s put aside all of the boring business.

I joined this site for one reason. Money. I´ve always been money motivated and I learned at a young age that I had a strong presence of entrepreneurship all throughout my personality, my body and my choices. My first act of recorded entrepreneurship was when I was in only the third grade. I drew a little dart-board on a piece of paper and taped that paper to the to my metal desk. I would charge my fellow (soon to be pencil-less) fourth graders a fee of one pencil to throw a magnet at my little DIY dart-board. The magnet would stick to my desk and hit a spot on the paper. If they won, they received a cool pencil, if they lost... They usually played again.

Anyways, you can see that I´ve always been interested in business and entrepreneurship. I really joined this site because I want to better educate myself in REI. The money is just an added bonus. I´m motivated by the words by Warren Buffet ¨The more you learn, the more you earn.¨

I plan on using REI as the vehicle that will hopefully lead me to financial freedom in order to create a better future for myself, my friends and most importantly, my parents (the real reason behind all this).

In conclusion! I´m excited to be a part of the site and I hope to learn as much as I can!

Thanks all who read this,

Syreese, future gazillionaire.

Nine years ago, I bought my parents house. Now the only thing my Dad pays is the utility bills until he dies. Everything else I take care of. Freed up a lot of money for him.
