Hello BP!

My name is Sam Murphy and I am from Calvert County Maryland. I am 24 years old and am looking to invest in buy and hold properties in the near future. I currently am a steamfitter in local 602 and do some small investing on the side. It all started when I read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad and that's when I realized I needed passive income in my life. I was investing in retirement, 401k, stocks, and doing alot of research of opening up my own business. During my search I came across real estate investing which eventually lead me to Bigger Pockets. Since then I have been listening to podcasts non stop and reading as much as I can about the different types of real estate investments. Unfortunately I bought my first house last year before I found bigger pockets and used all of my money on the down payment so have no money now to invest, but I am saving and will be looking to purchase my first rental within a year after much more reading and researching. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
