Hello! I am new to the real estate investing industry with no deals under my belt yet! Everything that BiggerPockets offers is inspiring me more and more every day! I can't wait until the day that I jump in and buy my first investment property. I have a goal to watch every podcast to date and I have went through about 30-40 of them so far. I am in the Portage-Valparaiso-Chesterton area currently and am interested in staying local for my first few investment properties. I am excited to join BiggerPockets and discuss investing with everyone.

Hi Kristin- welcome to BP. Are you looking to get in to flipping or rentals? Check out NICIA and Invest NWI as local REIAs. NICIA meets in Merrillville and the Invest NWI group meets in Highland.
