New to the game!

Hello, BiggerPockets! My name is Keawe (kay-ah-veh). I'm 23 years of age. I live in Hawaii, born and raised. I'm a full time Petroleum Field Service Technician for a private company/contractor and via the recommendation of the book 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' from a colleague, I've become extremely interested in investing. I have little to no knowledge of real estate, marketing or have any actual foundation for this "trade". But, I'm amidst absorbing all that I can from the Ultimate Beginners Guide on this forum and feel that I have a great, long path ahead of me! I look forward to meeting all of you and heeding guidance from those who wish to give it! I long to use my youth to my advantage and getting a running head start on my future & financial education. If anyone has any books to recommend to aid in a solid foundation (from scratch), please do drop the title in here! I'd personally like to study up before meeting and conversing with others.
