Newbie Los Angeles member interested in non-local rentals

Hello!

I'm excited and looking forward to participating on BiggerPockets.  I want to learn, network and build my team of professionals who are experienced in non-local and international properties. As a dual Canadian/American citizen I am open to buying in either country (for my first property) and then internationally.  My goal is to buy my first rental property in 2017.  

If you know of any groups in Los Angeles that meet about the above please let me know!
