My name is Anthony Downing and I'm a new member from Chicago, IL. I'm excited about all the information on real estate investing I've gained thus far listening to the Bigger Pockets Podcasts. I've been hearing common themes among the successful real estate investor guests on the shows of using "other people's money, the BRRRR method, learning from mistakes, overcoming fear, actually applying the knowledge attained along the way and financial freedom. I'm addicted to listening and reading articles when ever I get a free moment. My goal is to buy, rehab, rent, refinance and repeat 4 multi unit properties and flip 1 house in 2017 applying the methods I learn in the Bigger Pockets community. I currently have my single family home in the hot Bronzeville neighborhood up for sale and plan to use the profit from this purchase to get started on my 2017 goals.
