Hi,

My name is Christine Roush. I've been a licensed realtor for 8+ years. I began my real estate career in the desert communities of San Bernardino County in 2008 when the market was at it's lowest point. It was a tough time and place to start in real estate for even the most experienced realtor. Being a "newbie" I had a lot to learn, so I took advantage of the"down" market and learned as much as possible about short sales and REO's. I also earned a "green designation" as an "EcoBroker" since I am interested in sustainable living and the environment.

I returned to the San Francisco Bay area, where I was born and raised, hoping for better luck in the real estate business.  The home prices are so expensive here, it's very hard for the first-time homebuyer to afford, and the inventory is still quite low which seems to be causing prices to continue to rise.  I'm hanging in here, but not doing much business.

My daughter encouraged me to join BiggerPockets in order to network and learn with other professionals about investing.  She has become interested in obtaining her real estate sales license and plans to focus on investment opportunities.  I'm thinking we could join forces someday and make a great mother-daughter team.
