Soon to be landlord in SoBro

Hey Everyone!

My girlfriend and each own our own homes and are only 3 blocks apart. I'm currently flipping my house to live in at 51st and Norwaldo and once that is completed by the end of 2016 we would like to rent out her property at 52nd and Ralston. I'm here looking for tips on land lording and eventually apply the money we earn from rent towards another rental property. I have cautious plans on moving forward and would like to pay down or off our current houses in the next 5-10 years.

@Paul Brogan  Brandon & Heather Turner wrote a book on Landlording -->

The day to day isn't as much as it might seem. I would try and setup all bank accounts, entities (LLC, etc, if you're going that route) property management/accounting software, etc. before you rent it out, so you aren't scrambling to get everything organized.

Best,

-Mark
