[Robert Villanueva]

My name is Robert Villanueva a Texas real estate agent with City Connections. In this role I look after all aspects of residential real estate, including leasing, selling, buying, and property management.

My humble beginnings started in Queens, New York where I was raised with my two siblings Genesis and Charlie Villanueva. Some of you may know Charlie from his eleven-year NBA career with the Toronto Raptors, Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons, and Dallas Mavericks. Through managing Charlie's real estate investments in New York, Michigan and Florida I have overseen and managed multiple properties and investments through out the last ten years. I myself also own properties in New York City. I am excited to now bring my expertise in real estate and property management to Houston.

Although I have a true passion for real estate my career started in video production. I had the honor to work for ESPN, Fox Sports Detroit and Tivity Social and developed many influential relationships including athletes and TV personalities along the way. With my knowledge in video production I have found it very useful to help promote and sell multiple properties and investments. With Tivity Social I was able to develop skills in branding, marketing, advertising, and social media.

I believe it is important to give back, especially when it includes family. My brother Charlie was diagnosed with Alopecia when he was 10 years old. After watching how it affected him and so many others, we felt it was important to create awareness through fashion, powerful messaging, and design. I now spend my free time helping the movement called What is Alopecia? hoping through Alopecia Apparel people can educate themselves and be aware on what is alopecia.

Through my journey I am proud to now call Texas my home. Being 100% Dominican and fluent in Spanish it was a pretty smooth transition. I love the variety of places where I can dance to salsa, merengue and bachata. I have lived in over 5 different states and I can honestly say Houston has the best food and best tailgating parties.
