Property Manager - w2 to entrepreneur

Hello BiggerPockets' group!

I'm Barrett Leigh from Minneapolis MN.  I've done many many things for employment in my life but the predominance is in property management.  My mentors were owner operators / buy-hold whom started their careers in Real Estate in the 1970's in Southern AZ. I worked for them for 4 years. My W2 is with a property management company in Minneapolis/St. Paul metro.  I started at the bottom and most recently was promoted to Portfolio Manager.

My long term goal in real estate is to own and operate multi family investment property. My short and mid term goals are to team up with investors to manage their properties for a fee and to collaborate with investors as a property manager for a stake in the investment.
