New Chicago investor - Diving right in!
Hi all, name is Bob, most call me Bobby. I live in the Bolingbrook, IL area, about 40 min outside the city of Chicago itself. I work in an corporate environment right now, but have been planning to start my ventures in real estate for about a year now.
I have a friend who has been in the investing market for some time, so I have good support, and believe this industry can be profitable for my family and I. Most might jump into it for the income, my excitement comes more from the opportunity to own more of my time. I have a 7month old, and I value time with family differently now.
I found bigger pockets by doing a google search on "best real estate books", which resulted in a comprehensive list that I've recently used.
Thanks in advance for your support!
