New Investor from Richardson, Texas
Hello to the BiggerPockets community.
I am a novice Real Estate investor & new to the BiggerPockets forum. I am a manager for an Oilfield Services company. I live in Richardson, Texas and recently with the downturn in oil market have been looking for investment properties to buy in the Dallas Fort worth area. Finding "good" investment houses has proven to be quite challenging for a novice & thus it set me off on an adventure to learn and find ways to get non MLS deals "off market" thus ended up in this forum.
Unfortunately I have not been successful as every wholesaler I met (in the Dallas area) seems to be trying to push off deals at/or near retail prices. I suppose market conditions allow for that :) so, I have decided to find my own deals/motivated sellers.
BiggerPockets has been a wealth of information. Thank you to all those who contribute and share the knowledge and experience.
