My name is John Jacobus, I am currently a real estate agent/broker looking to get into the investing side of the business.  I have been working in residential real estate for eight years and also taught middle school for four and a half years during that time.

32 years old, Dallas, TX, looking to invest into one to four family properties, mainly buy and hold. 

Reason I joined Bigger Pockets:

- over the last six months I have been more interested in buying property for myself that I have been for others.  

- I am looking to get into the long term wealth building that real estate has to offer that unfortunately residential real estate sales does not.  

- Meet and network with other people with the same goals in mind.  

- advice on how to go about certain projects.
