Hello group,

Quick Bio.  

My first venture into RE was successful with the 3yr hold/rental house purchase and resale with nice profet. Sold before bubble collapsed market.

 Reinvested in 3 properties 1.5 hr drive away from home because price seemed right. Contractor skipped town, market collapsed, basically lost most of retirement funds. Still stuck with 4 apartment units.

After getting burned (my bad) and at 61, I am a little leary of diving in again although I know if done right risk is minimal.

Hope this group can teach me a few solid lessons.
