21-year-old starting in Real Estate Investing

Hi! I've discovered this path of real estate a few months ago and am educating myself and trying to learn as much as I can. I'm currently located in the suburbs near Philadelphia, PA. I am planning on fix-and-flipping, which I'm not sure works in my market. I'm planning on learning more about my market.

Now I have a question that I think will be helpful to those starting out in this business and this is:

Where do I find people who are ACTUALLY doing deals and MAKING MONEY, not just saying they are? At REIA's I see plenty of people talking with a big mouth, I see people who talk a big game, but I'm not 100% if they 1) make any money 2) are trying to sell me something.
