Hi! 👋😊
My name's Jessica Sanchez, I'm currently attending RE school. As overwhelming as it can be, I enjoy every second of it. Learning about Real Estate is just as exciting when buying a new video game 😄
I've been wanting to get into Real Estate about a year ago after I completed bartending school. As much as I enjoyed making drinks to those who wanted to relax after a hard day of work or just wanted to chat with their loved ones, I didn't want to do it forever.
Before I "discovered" Real Estate, I would always search open houses in the nice part of town and enjoyed attending them. As I would walk around the house, I would imagine kids running around in a big open spaced living room and my fiancè playing ping pong in our large finished basement that knowing him, would call his "man cave" as well as have a little bar set up so I can pour a drink or two. Aah, what a great image.
SO, back to reality, the point is, my goal is to make that image happen. But before I can do that for me and my family, I want to make it happen to those who are ready to move into a new home. Their happiness would be just as important as mine as well as their satisfaction.
My fiancè and I rented our attic to some of his coworkers, the rent money helped plenty. After my little boy was born, we didn't have anymore roommates.
He and I were interested in flipping - Buy cheap, rent reasonable or sell high. My fiancè bought and fixed his first house at 19 so he knew what to expect and had some experience with homes. But one of us needed the "real experience" before flipping could happen so we don't jump into something we're not prepared for. So I took a break from bartending and began to attend RE school. I'm 3 weeks in and it's one of the best decisions that I've ever made.
I read a lot of blogs, forums, as well as listen to BP podcasts. Everyone's opinion and advice is important to me. Being here to me is like living in a perfect community because everyone's friendly and are always there to help & guide one another.
I like that a lot.
So hello again and it's nice to make your ( virtual ) acquaintance. ☺
