Hello BP Community -

New member here from Brooklyn, NY. I've done 1 deal (a multi-family that I own and live in). Fortunately it's gone well and I'm looking to do more... BUT the harsh realities of BK RE in particular and NYC RE in general are well documented - mega expensive with depressing cap rates.

My eyes are open in in NYC and NJ "Gold Coast" because you never know, but I'm mostly looking further afield to RE markets I think are good bets. This presents a challenge because my knowledge of these places is limited to non-existent.

So, with an emphasis on buy-and-hold rental, I'm hoping to learn as much as I can from folks actually doing it here and in other parts of the country - and in time maybe even find some great people I can partner with to build a solid ground game.

I appreciate that so many are willing to share their experiences and expertise.

Here we go...

J
