Hello Everyone - I am a young professional in Charlotte, North Carolina that is looking to take advantage of my planning and zoning knowledge to create a profile of buy and hold properties throughout the region.  Being new to everything, I am looking for any information that you have found helpful and am even willing to grab a beer and talk things over.  I have a ton of questions and am always looking for more information.

@Tom Wiese - Welcome to BP!  There are lots of investors here in the Charlotte area that are active here on BP.  Be sure to set "Charlotte" as one of your Keyword Alerts so you don't miss out on any of the local discussions.
