Hi BiggerPockets Community!

My name is Matt Peterson and I discovered Bigger Pockets today while searching for real estate investing podcasts.  As my subject line suggests I am interesting in learning more about the real estate industry as a whole.  Specifically I am interested in residential real estate but being rather "green" to the industry I am curious as to what opportunities are out there.  

Monday through Friday I work in the commercial insurance industry at an agency close to Jackson.  My career has introduced me to LIHTC properties and continues to peak my interest in the industry as a whole.

Ultimately I hope to grow as a "Rich Dad" of two beautiful young girls and put my money to work for me.
