Young family man looking to diversify income

My name is Jeremy and I live in North Dakota. I am a carpenter by trade and have owned my own business for the last four years. My wife and I would like to diversify our income and grow our business by exploring real estate. We do not have large amounts of money, but we do have "sweat equity".
