Hello BiggerPockets REI community! I'm excited about becoming a wholesaler full-time in my current area of Chicago. I've been learning about wholesaling right here on BiggerPockets...Briefly about myself, I'm formerly a Foreclosure Consultant of nearly seven years working in the Georgia area. I enjoyed what I was doing, helping and assisting homeowners who were anywhere from $5,000-$120,000 behind on their mortgage. I worked with many banks (BOA/WAMU/Ocwen/Countrywide...) as well as with McCalla Raymer Foreclosing Attorneys. I also partnered with a few local investors where they would assist a homeowner in a shortsale or Lease-option if a lender would not accept any form of workout for that homeowner. Moving forward, I later became ill and had to pull away from my business, to later return on a part-time basis; THEN, the market crashed! I TRULY miss being in the REI arena...So gratifying and rewarding when you are able to "genuinely help" others and make money at what one LOVES. REI is so "creative" and can be a "win-win" for ALL when done "correctly" and in an "ethical" manner. I'm also interested in buying notes (I'm still learning about this technique), buy/hold and maybe fix/flips--fix/hold. Lastly, I enjoy LEARNING about REI and various techniques...A couple of tecniques I've used in the past after learning about them online---Subject2's/LandTrust; these techniques actually work! #HappyREInvesting.
