Hi! I'm Kelly! I just joined and am excited about the wealth of information on this site! My hubs and I have been married for 31 years and we have three kiddos. We just found out yesterday that we are going to be grandparents to not one, but TWO little ones! My daughter and daughter-in-law are due a month apart! I'm pretty pumped! 😃  As for finally taking the leap into real estate investing (I've been begging my very conservative husband for 10 years), we honestly just need the extra income.  Sadly Colorado's market is slightly too steep for us to get into just yet, we plan to start with a couple properties near Notre Dame (I went to high school in Mishawaka and still have family there) and hope to rent to students and work up from there. I'd like to also get into fix and flips as well. As a former wedding planner and small business owner, I hope I can transfer those skills and learn ALOT more along the way so that we might be succcessful in this new venture and not "lose the family farm". 😃
