Hi everyone! My name is Heather Boren and I am excited to be here as a new member. Hopefully, my bio is now posted, but some information about myself:

I enjoy giving back to my real estate community as an active member with many real estate organizations including Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW-LA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and is Vice Chair of the Southland Regional Association of Realtors (SRAR) Commercial Division and Chair of the Education Subcommittee. 

When not doing all things real estate, I enjoy competitive figure skating, and cheering on the LA Kings. I also have two beautiful huskies, who are rescues.

My recent interests are researching real estate careers and starting to gather a database of feedback from all professionals, residential, commercial and all aspects of the industry. 

I am looking forward to contributing to the forums. My primary feedback is typically related to financial analysis and underwriting of income properties (a course I teach at UCLA), leasing commercial real estate, as well as insights on flipping v. renting (from my former days at American Homes 4 Rent), and more!
