A long overdue intro

I am an aspiring investor and native resident of the Yuba City / Sutter / Marysville area in California. Real estate has been a life-long interest that became sidelined as I worked a job to support my family. Now, as most of my children are adults, I find myself ready to revisit this. I am currently COO at a large (for our area) landscape company, and am looking to broaden my experience and future options with real estate.

I joined BP a couple years ago after talking and meeting with another local member, @Steve Mccarthy. I've spent these past couple years trying to pick up as much as I can on BP, and admittedly I've become stuck due to a bit of overthinking. I'm ready to put that aside, ask some newbie questions, and get moving.

Currently I'm exploring the avenue of auctioned properties, and am not limiting myself to the Yuba-Sutter area. I would love to network with others who have found success in this niche - especially those working in Northern California. I've heard some people on podcasts who have done well with this, and hope to find a property or two to get started with.

I hear it's a tough market to break into around here... I would be grateful for an opportunity to meet up with others over coffe, lunch, or messaging.

Tim
