[Trey Foradory]

Hey fellow Bigger Pocket Members!

I have been a basic member for a little while and have posted a few times to the forums but have decided to become much more active on the site and in real estate all together.  So I'll tell you a bit about me, my slight experience and where I'm going.

My name is Henry but I've always gone by Trey due to being a third.  I'm originally from Austin, TX and now currently reside in Denver/Littleton, CO with my beautiful wife of 8 years and our 2 dogs.  My brother in law got me interested in real estate this past January after he read (drum roll please!)............Rich Dad Poor Dad! I know none of you have ever heard of this book (haha).  Our conversation caused me to dive in and want to learn all about it and we both started by watching all of the Ron LeGrand videos and reading anything real estate related we could and decided to start with wholesaling.  We teamed up together even though he lived in Galveston, TX and I lived here in Denver.  Together, we have successfully completed 5 wholesale transactions in Galveston and 1 here in Denver.  We are now each focusing on our own markets. 

My wife and I have decided we want to continue looking for deals here in Denver and want to generate a rental portfolio in the long term.  For the time being, we want to continue finding wholesale deals but really want to learn more about the full process of flipping in order to flip some of the houses ourselves.  I will also be completing my profile by the end of the day this Thursday. 

Looking forward to any advice, networking opportunities or even just chatting with other like minded individuals.

I apologize for the delayed response.  Thank you very much for the welcome response and so far I've read several real estate books as well as many other types of books, i.e. personal development and business.  BP is definitely LOADED with very valuable information and I can't thank @Joshua Dorkin @Brandon Turner and everyone at BP enough for putting together such an incredible network and community.  The podcasts and blogs are incredible and I really enjoy hearing all of the different success stories as well as the mistakes made by even the "big dogs".  Thanks again for the welcome and best of luck with your investing as well!
