Hi, My name is Mel Harrington. I have been quietly reading and absorbing information from bigger pockets for over a year ( including reading many of Brandon Turner 's books and webinars) and figured it was time to introduce myself.

I am currently a property manager of various types of properties ranging from multi-family, single family and shared rooms with somewhat difficult tenants at times. I am also a real estate agent and partners with my partner (investor, friend and owner of DJB Properties) in working to expand in sales, rehabbing, and expanding our property management. I am always looking for more knowledge on how to do my managing, sales and investing on a higher and more proficient level.  As well I am eager to learn on how to network well and learn more on foreclosures, HUDs and REOs to find some good deals to invest in. I am always excited to hear stories from others and things that they learned from either success or somewhat disasters :) . I hope to glean from others experience as well possibly be able to give some helpful thoughts from time to time on areas that I have gained knowledge through my property management and my new endeavor as a realtor and investing. I also really hope to branch in to rehabbing in the near future with either buying and holding or flipping. I would love to hear your own stories and expertise in these areas.
