New Member, looking to learn as much as I can!

My name is Shelby McAuliffe. I am a first time, stay-at-home mom to a 3 month old little girl. My husband works crazy long hours as a correctional officer at a prison in Nashville. We recently moved from Clarksville, TN to a small town near Franklin,TN called Fairview. I am so thankful to get to stay at home with my baby, but I my goal is to be able to significantly contribute to our income so that my husband doesn't have to work so much to keep us afloat. I am literally starting from zero. I just finished reading the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert T. Kiyosaki and it really opened my eyes to the importance of making our money work for us instead of spending our whole life working for money and building our asset column vs. our liability column. I am only beginning to understand what this means, so I am always looking for new ways to learn about investing and networking, which is how I came across BP. I am interested in investing in real estate-either in rentals or in property, learning how to analyze deals, possibly airbnb.. definitely need to find a focus! Right now, I just have so much to learn!
