I'm a buy and hold investor with two rental properties. I bought my first property in 2007 and my second in 2012. My goal is to acquire a new property every 5 years. Hopefully this will happen in 2017. In the past, I have bought a single family home as a primary residence and then turn it into a rental after a few years.
