Hello!

My name is Travis and I am a CPA from Waterloo, IA. I grew up in this area and received my degree from the University of Northern Iowa. I stumbled upon BP by researching one of the guru classes via a google search. It took me a couple months to come back to the site, but it was a great decision to sign up as there is so much great information and resources.

I currently do not have any experience investing in real estate. I have personally built three of my own residences, but have been too scared in the past to buy rentals or rehab properties. I have always had a passion for real estate, and think it is about time to make the leap.  I have spent the past month listening to podcasts, watching the webinars, reading the free materials and blogs as well as analyzing deals in my area anxiously waiting to find my first deal as I have been approved for financing and have some cash.

My goal initial goal is to purchase SFRs or duplexes that cash flow around $1,000 per month and also to sprinkle in some fix and flips.  Then continue to set and reach new goals.

I am excited to be part of the this great community and loog forward to meeting other investors on the site!
