Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and decided it was time to actually sign up, in case I needed advice/referrals/to rant. :)

I bought a 2-bedroom condo in Cambridge a couple years ago and rented out a bedroom while I lived in the other. I just got some tenants for September 1st to rent the entire place after I officially moved in with my boyfriend in Somerville. He has a few units himself in Somerville. We're DIY-landlords, and believe in buy and hold, but currently in holding stage (major gut-renovation of the unit we'll be living in).

Anybody else here investing in East Somerville? We've loved seeing the neighborhood change over the last year.

Disclosure - Also working for a company that's in brainstorming phase for real estate problems, which is how I found BP, but I've got nothing to sell you.
