Hello,

Just been reading all of the useful info on the site the last few days and wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Rick and I'm located in Henderson NV just a short hop from the Las Vegas Strip, while I am not a Real Estate professional I am looking to get into some investment / flip opportunities where I can put my extensive construction background to use and eventually make a transition. I currently Own and Operate a Handyman Service performing repairs, light remodels and carpentry due to the last recession we went through family shut the doors and I had to figure a way to survive on my skills.. I have been involved in my Families contracting business since I grew up in Ca. as well as residential and commercial properties owned and rentals some which were built by us. Just looking for tips and pointers as this is a whole new ballgame and I know there's lots to learn.

I have had a realtor (friend) that I do work for from time to time sending me MLS searches but they just seem to be fruitless .. All seem way overvalued/priced with no room to come out ahead at the end. So I stumbled across this site which seems like a excellent source of valuable information. Thanks to all for their stories hopefully I can lend some success stories in the future to help out.
