Hello BP peeps! My name is Dan and I'm intrigued by real estate investing and am just beginning my education.

I have no background in real estate, and am exploring the possibility purchasing a rental property (or moving and converting our current home into a rental) in the next few years. I'm currently hooked on the BP podcasts and am learning a lot already.

My wife and I are ultra-conservative financially. I've been on the Dave Ramsey plan for a while, so the thought of increasing our mortgage debt is really difficult to swallow. But I have read some of the discussions about Dave Ramsey and his advice, and both sides have good points.

Looking forward to continuing to learn!
