Greetings BP,

Real estate is the place to be in good times and bad times, so obviously I have a lot of interest in this area. I am an investor that has bought property and currently own property. In the future, I would like to get more. That is one of the reasons I am here to learn more about real estate investing in action. Not just the theory.

For the past 7 years, I have owned a real estate appraisal company as a Certified Appraiser in Illinois and Indiana. This was a decent business to be in, but with the new HVCC and other silly laws, I have decided to let that business go. The risk reward ratio is off and I don't want anything else to do with it. Valuation is still my specialty, but I will not be doing any business in that field.

As a real estate entrepreneur, many different opportunities present themselves to earn cashflow. For three years I owned a physical, real estate investment magazine called Invest With Passion, in the metro Chicago area. I had the opportunity to network with many of the brightest real estate minds in the marketplace. This lead to moving the business online, producing educational dvds, cds, and packages in the process.

Picking up multi-media competencies was a big moment in my development. Designing websites have always been my interest because over the years I needed websites for the various business ventures I was involved in. So when I published the magazine, then the video and audio offerings, placing them on YouTube and the various social networking outlets it all tied a beautiful knot for me.

As a result, I began working with two of Chicagoland's best foreclosure and short sale specialists. [SOLICITATION REMOVED]

Looking forward to meeting, networking, and growing with many of you in the Bigger Pockets community.
