New guy from Rhode Island

Hello everyone! I've made a couple of posts on here so far, but haven't really introduced myself. My name is Corey, I'm from Rhode Island, and work in Boston as an IT Professional. I've always had a general interest in real estate, and especially the potential for passive income that comes along with it, but have recently become more serious about purchasing my first property and am hoping to get started within the next 3 months. I've been reading everything I can find and have learned a ton on this site so far!

My goal is to purchase a couple of multifamily rental properties in the Providence or Greater Boston areas using the BRRR strategy. I'm planning to attend the next RIREIG meeting and am looking forward to learning and meeting people in the area.
