Hello from an eager and excited Newbie!

Hello everyone! I'm Keith Brooks and excited if found BiggerPockets.com - this place rocks!

In a nutshell - I've been living in Suwanee, GA for four years. Prior to that I lived in Niceville and Fort Walton Beach, FL since '97. I was born and raised in Pensacola, FL, where I lived for almost 30 years.

I'm married to an amazing, and extremely intelligent woman (Kim) and have to incredible boys (one just turned 18, the other almost 15). 

I was a professional musician (drummer) for fifteen years, then transitioned into the "Real World", and took up software development. Earned my degree, became Microsoft Certified in .NET and SQL design, development, implementation and administration. 

Just prior to the RE Bubble bursting, I became licensed Real Estate Agent /Realtor in FL. Did a few deals, make a little money, then the industry collapsed (at least for newbie agents, and mortgage brokers). 

Now I'm hoping to get involved in multi-family property investing - wholesaling and buy & hold. My retirement fund took a dive (like everyone else's) back in 09 - ironically - it was the bust that got me out of the industry, and is pulling me back in!
