Springfield MO seems to be a great area to pursue this type of investing! I was considering purchasing a 4 bed 2 bath house last year going for $8000 and fixing it up there. I was working for the big trucking company at that time that is based there, Prime inc. So unfortunately I was on the road a lot. But it seems like you can't go wrong investing in a small city with 4 colleges. Good luck!
