REA-Investing Advice for 93550 N Los Angeles County

Hey guys, I am interested in Bigger Pockets. I have been listening to many podcasts on Bigger Pockets after first signing up for the site months back. I am really interested in investing the market I sale in as an active realtor. But I am not for sure which investing strategy is the best one in the progressive & affordable market that I am in (unlike the more expensive California areas). As a realtor, I look daily at all of the potential deals in my market from REO's, NOD's, Short Sales etc..to the 40 unit Multifamily listings available. If anyone can give me feedback on which direction I should begin in as a beginner investor I would greatly appreciate it.
