Reston Real Estate Investor Intro

Kevin Barbera
  • Reston, VA
Posted

As a long time resident of Northern VA, Kevin has seen the tremendous growth and development of Tysons, Reston, and other parts of NOVA over the past 30 years. He grew up in Great Falls and for the past 5 years has lived in Reston, VA, close to the Reston Town Center.

From a young age, Kevin always had an interest in real estate and eventually developed a passion for the business after reading a variety of real estate investment books and studying real estate & finance at Virginia Tech. After college, Kevin continued to further his business knowledge and education by enrolling at The University of Maryland’s MBA (Masters in Business Administration) program through the Robert H. Smith School of Business. There he sharpened his business fundamentals, data analysis skills, interpersonal communication/presentation skills, and management skills. This additional knowledge ultimately fueled his entrepreneurial drive to start a business of his own.

Kevin has worked for a variety of companies in multiple industries. From working in financial consulting and asset management at a real estate investment company, to serving as a consultant in a government contracting capacity, Kevin has acquired a broad array of skills and experiences with which he plans to use to deliver exemplary service to his clientele.

While passionate about real estate and helping others navigate the real estate transaction process, Kevin makes it a priority to designate time for the things that matter most to him. Spending time with family and friends, organizing volunteer work at homeless shelters, living an active and healthy life and helping other to do the same, traveling, and playing music with his band are among the many different things Kevin values.
