Investor in Mesa County, Colorado

Hello BP,

I pretty much accidentally fell into renting out my first home and that gave me the itch to get serious about investing.  I've moved to Colorado and I am interested in investing in Mesa County (Palisade, Grand Junction, Fruita, Mesa, Clifton, Mack).  I'm educating myself on fix and flips, buy and holds - multi family for long term and single family for vacation rentals, and spec building.  I'm not sure which one makes the most sense yet.

I am also considering Milwaukee, WI as a potential market to invest in as I have ties there and it seems like there are deals to be found - but I'm just not sure if they look to good to be true considering the rough shape of Milwaukee's economy.

I look forward to connecting with others and learning this game.
