New member from Idaho. Need some input
Hi everyone , my name is Edward and I live in beautiful north Idaho. I'm 22 years old and am looking to get my foot in the door of real estate investing. I would like to obtain my license and start my journey as soon as possible. Here's my dilemma, I will be relocating to Portland Oregon by the beginning of next year. I'm not sure whether the license I obtain here in Idaho will transfer over to Oregon. Again I'm just starting to put my foot in the door so I apologize if this question has been asked already in the past. Any and all advice is much appreciated. Thank you!

Edward,
If you are planning on moving over to Portland, Oregon here in a few months, you might as well just take the Oregon License course. Oregon's requirements are 150 hours of online training, and then passing the state and national tests. After that, you just find a brokerage to hang your license at. The training takes most people a couple months to complete, and since you are going to be moving this way in a few months, might as well train with the Oregon one!
I'm a licensed realtor in Oregon, so let me know if you have any questions about Oregon stuff.
Thanks,
Chris Parrish
